While I agree that it is not good parctice to blame and point fingers, I
might point out that now those who oppose this type of labeling
(reagrding the interpretation of Russian) understand the feelings of
the Tglingit and other non-European groups which have been misrepresented
in museum culture. I hope the lesson is really learned and I hope that it
not only reuslts in PC labeling, but also more accurate interpretaion of
objects by museums overall.
