Sorry, but I have only just picked up this on my return from holiday.

Are you restricting your search to the USA or would you consider England?

We have here in the Department of Arts Policy and Management at City over
15 years' experience of high level research work in audience
research and evaluation, and have several PhDs in progress that may
complement your are of interest (eg. evaluation of museum-based
multi-media education initiatives), and all three museum and gallery
specialists in our academic staff of eight have education
qualifications and extensive professional experience.

Our more than 30 PhD students can also participate in our MA programme
modules (eg. in this case eg. "Education and Museums and Galleries" or "Arts
Audiences" specialist option modules for our MA in Museum and Gallery
Management and MA in Arts Management degrees).

You can find out more about our Department and programmes on our Web site:

Elsewhere in London, King's College, University of London, has graduated
several PhDs in this sort of area in recent years, especially in
relation to science museum learning and evaluation.
