It's kinda late in the day to mention it, but Saturday and Sunday the
National Mall will be rocking with the Smithsonian's 150th aniversary
celebration. There'll be more than a mile of booths, tents and stages,
featuring all sorts of ethnic food and entertainment. If you're within
striking distance of Washington, hie yourself hither.
