Indiana University has an Arts Administration Masters program. It is
highly competitive, and admits at most 10-15 students each year. It is
primarily a business degree. Museum studies is more general in that it
prepares students for collections-based work, such as curatorial,
exhibit, and collection/objects management. Museum studies does not
prepare students to administrate things like municipal performance
groups, etc., as does arts admin.
