Smithsonian Institution, Center for Museum Studies
This is too important an issue to be clouded by personal attacks on
either side. Clearly, dialogue needs to occur, but attacks are
COUNTERPRODUCTIVE. There are many issues with regards to accessibility.
Some may seem frivilous until they are further explored. We all have
different outlooks and levels of sensitivity. Education and dialogue
serve to clarify things. Impassioned arguments are fine, but attacks are
rude and serve little purpose but to vent. "Seek first to understand and
then be understood."
