I belong to the "Friends" group of a living history museum with an
interpretation date of 1914. Next year is the 40th anniversary of its
foundation and so we would like to have some special events/fund raisers
to mark this. Does anyone have any ideas that they would care to share
on this subject?
We happen to be situated in an area that has many cultural sites and
would like to avoid things that are frequently done in this area such
as: haunted houses, pumpkin festivals, teddy bear picnics, scottish
days,band concerts and so on.
I would be grateful for any suggestions, on or off list, which might help
us to mark the occassion in a way that is not generally seen locally.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
