Los Angeles Maritime Museum along with the Maritime Institute will host
an open house September 1, 1996 11AM to 4PM at the museum in San Pedro,
California.  The museum and the vessels berthed at the musuem will be
open to visitors for the day.  Information booths will be on the lawn
with volunteers from the various affilates of the museum to show visitors
the activities conducted at the museum and its satellite locations.
Model building, Ham radio, Boat building, Rigging and Sailing programs
will be highlighted.
