At midday today we had a theft of 4 Native American basketry items that
were on exhibit.
The items are 1) a brimmed hat, 11.5 x 3.5 inches, twined tules, possibly
Klamath; 2) basket in the shape of a 3-legged kettle, 3.75 x 4 inches;
Tlinglit 3) model of a kerosene pedestal lamp and chimney, 7 inches
overall; Tlinglit 4) a pitcher, with "Remember Me" on it, 2.25 inches
high x 2 inches diameter, Nootka-Makah.
I have notified local dealers, police etc.
If you have something useful to contribute please let me know. If you
think photographs would help you help me, please also let me know.
Thank you.
