The Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer in Grand Island, Nebraska, is
looking to construct a new storage/office facility. They want to put it
in a steel building shell, tricked out inside with the necessary stuff to
provide security, environmental controls, and fire detection and suppression.
Their question to all of you is this: Have any of you built this type of
building to house collections, and if so, would you mind a visit?
Bearing in mind the costs of travel and our harsh environment, they would
prefer to visit museums in our region--the northern great plains.
If you are in such a building and would be willing to have a visit and
answer a bunch of questions, call Ronette Rumpca at 308-385-5316.
Thanks all.
