George,
        Thanks for the sensible suggestions.  I should note that we are
already working with the Wisconsins State Capitol Police and the
Wisconsin National Guard, both of which have qualified munitions experts
and bomb disposal units.  We also, fortunately, have no large
artillery shells or the like to deal with.  It's always worth a reminder
that the value of collections pale in comparison with that of the lives
of staff and patrons.
        Thanks also for the identification tips.  That may be quite
helpful.
