Right-o. I don't know of any place in the USA that doesn't have some form
of subsidy. Of course the rest of the earth invests in culture as a going
national concern. Currently, I work at a museum that loves to brag on how
they don't take anything from the government (you will notice the alias I
use on line) and frankly myself and another member or two of the staff who
are a bit more alert have pointed out the indirect subsidy of simple
non-profit status in the tax code. Further, since we all paid taxes in,
they say they resent NEA (really they're sort of dense), hey why not ask
for some back? The simple logic of this ricochets off their pointed heads
