Okay, I'll wander a bit further... Once when visiting the Huntington in
Pasadena, and enjoying the British paintings, I overheard the chap next
to me ask his companion, "What does that R.A. after the artist's name
mean?" The companion immediately and obligingly replied "Oh, that means
Real Artist."
Maybe "I don't know" is better!
