For museum peices, gentle vacuuming is probably the BEST method of
cleaning. Soft artist brushes can be used to brush hard to get dust off
a piece of furniture. A great dust cloth that can be used is called a
"Dust Bunny". It is a statically charged cloth that picks up the dirt.
It is reusable and works very well. But when cleaning furniture, be very
careful that the dust being removed is not important, i.e. old food
stains, signs of use, etc.
