Well, the weather is hanging in there for us so far for the Museum
Computer Network Conference which takes place from October 29-November
2 in Ottawa, Canada! The temperature is hovering around 12 degrees
Celcius, which translates to 54 degrees Fahrenheit.
We still have some lovely fall colours, with our maples shades of
yellow, orange and red.
If you are coming to the conference, you should plan for weather in
the forties or fifties, come prepared for some rain and also some
sunshine (no sunscreen required, however). Bring galoshes (if anyone
still wear such things), umbrellas, a light coat and maybe also a
warmer fall coat (e.g., a trenchcoat with a lining, or a trench with a
sweater underneath should do it for the coolest days).
If you have any questions about Ottawa, I'll try to answer them, or
any about the conference, please see our web site at
http://www.chin.gc.ca under "what's new" or contact me at:
tel: 1-819-994-1200
fax: 1-819-994-9555
e-mail: [log in to unmask]
See you all in Ottawa I hope!
