This is a great thing. We are working with the National Center for Arts and
Disabilities (Headed by Elias Katz="[log in to unmask]") to make our
collections and information more accessible to people with disabilities. We
are using new technologies as part of our strategy (see
http://www.uampfa.berkeley.edu/onlineres/currprojects.html) so I found the
NCAM home page that got a copy of the Web Accessibility Symbol and put it
on our home page straightaway.

The URL for NCAM is along with many sized copies of the image, and links to
a useful page on tips for creating accessible WWW pages is at:

http://www.boston.com/wgbh/pages/ncam/symbolwinner.html

Thanks very much for posting the announcement of this symbol!
