The Chicago Historical Society has recently initiated a new loan policy. It
states, in part, that a loan request must be made 6 (six!!) months in advance,
must be in writing (reasonable) and a fee of US$100 will be assessed per item. A
copy of their loan policy may be obtained from Louise Brownell, Registrar,
Chicago Historical Society, Clark Street @ North Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614-6099.
