The Southwestern Pennsylvania Heritage Preservation Commission
Announces a
Fall Internship Opportunity
Location: Laurel Hill State Park in Somerset County, PA
(About one hour southeast of Pittsburgh)
Description: The intern will research the site's collections of artifacts
and photographs
pertaining to the Civilian Conservation Corps camp which once existed
there, and assist in the development of multi-media presentation and
educational programs for the park.
Qualifications: The intern should be either hold a graduate degree in
history or a related field, or should be a student at the graduate level
with strong research and
organizational skills.
Duration: Full time, fifteen weeks. Precise dates are flexible.
Stipend: $100 per week, plus free housing at the park.
Deadline: Positon open until filled.
