Architecture critic Herbert Muchamp has an interesting
take on the relationship between Mondrian and Martha Stewart
in today's New York Times Arts Section (12/10/95, p. 46)...
Both Piet and Martha are elite workers who
"...simplify reality into abstract images
that can be rearranged, juggled, experimented with, communicated
to other specialists and then, eventually, transformed back into
reality."
Reality is an abstraction to Stewart and why she will feel right at

purchased.
Now, I've got to get back to making those hand-blown glass
Christmas tree ornaments Martha suggested...
