The Textile Conservation Center of the Museum of American Textile History
is seeking applicants for a one year contract, with a future staff
position possible.
Responsibilities include the examination, treatment, and documentation of
a wide variety of textiles at the TCC's newly designed laboratory. The
conservator will also participate in the treatment and preparation of
objects for new exhibits opening in 1996.
Candidates should be graduates of a recognized training program, or have
equivalent experience. Three to five years' supervised conservation
experience in required. Competitive salary, excellent benefits.
