The December 1995 issue of the Japanese magazine "The Sun" ("Taiyo") features
unique and unusual museums in Japan. These include museums and galleries
dedicated to:
beer
laundry-related things
parasites
Rika-chan dolls (a potential sister to the Barbie Museum in Palo Alto)
cupie dolls
toothpicks
Thomas Edison
dragonflies
dolls of witches (cute ones)
frog paraphenalia
It seems they didn't have room to include bigger places like the UCC Coffee
Museum in Kobe and the new Ramen Museum in Yokohama.
I've seen "The Sun" in an American university library, but if you can't find
it you could write to the publisher Heibonsha at Himonya 5-16-19, Meguro-ku,
Tokyo 152. The writing is all in Japanese but there are lots of color photos.
