We are using Access with great success. Not only does it integrate
beautifully with the other components of the Microsoft Office package (Word,
Excel, Powerpoint), it also works marvellously well with a number of email
packages.
And, since it supports BLOBs (Binary Large Objects), it is letting me work the
scanned images of artifacts directly into the database as I modify it. . .
