LEARNING IN MUSEUMS
Chicago, Illinois       November 16 - 18, 1995


A participatory program for the discussion of major advances in our
understanding of how visitors approach learning, acquire information, and
develop new ideas and awareness on the basis of their experiences in
museums and other informal learning environments:

Learning * Collaborations:  Practicing Educators, Research Specialists, and
Others * Learning in Museums and Providing Community Education * Federal
Education Update * and more.

This meeting includes a Seminar Learning Exchange, an open forum for
sharing current projects, programs, research in progress, and new
discoveries in the field by all interested registrants and their
institutions.
