Our exhibitions team is looking for a source for the following
historic newspapers, including Afro-American newspapers, either
originals or very high quality reproductions:
The Baltimore Afro-American, ca. 1936
The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, ca. 1936
The Chicago Defender, ca. 1933-1936
The New York Amsterdam News, ca. 1936
The New York World Telegram, ca. 1936
The Philadelphia Record, ca. 1935-36
The Pittsburgh Courier (National edition), ca. 1936
We are interested only in specific issues and pages of these
newspapers. Our attempts to obtain reproductions from microfilm have
been unsatisfactory. If you can give us any assistance or need
further information, please e-mail or phone me off the list.
Thank you.
