Dear Fellow Colleagues,
The Ridge Historical Society is currently having a exhibit
called, "Children of the
Ridge". Our curator, Bud Lane, has assembled a collection of toys,
furniture and clothing.
Most of these items are from families who have lived on the Blue Island
Ridge. It is a
small exhibit, but if you are interested in children's items from the
turn-of-the-century I
would recommend that you stop by. Entrance is free. The hours that our
museum is open is
as follows;
Thursday and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
I can also open the museum by appointment at other times. Although
Tuesday is the best
time for me.
Also I would like to take this time to wish everyone on the line Happy &
Safe Holidays!
