Yay, Mindy!

I have suggested the same modest proposal to my senators and congressfolk in
letters promoting federal support for the arts and museums, since there are
many many ways my tax $ get used of which I do not approve (but which still
receive whopping subsidies).  I was met with stony silence.  No sense of
humor in some quarters.
