CPAs do not neccessarily equate with inferior judgement; in fact, I have met
several CPA professionals who were quite competent in dealing with year-end
gifts, among other things.  To suggest otherwise is to denegrate those CPAs
who would be up to date with tax laws and donor needs.
Some are quite learned in these matters.
