We bought SNAP for Dos and found it to cumbersum.  We wrote a small
application in Q&A (snaps parent language) and use that for data entry on
an older laptop.
For queries and report generation I merge the data to ACCESS.  Love it.
I hear that the new SNAP for windows is written in ACESS.  Haven't seen
it.
