If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive program which will print
out catalog cards, my library just began to use MacCards, (I think that is
the name, but it does not sound quite right) and if you
need a Mac program, not a PC program. It has limitations, in regards to
search sophistication, but for just simple searching and, more importantly,
for printing catalog cards it is pretty good and fun to use, too. It is
not a great database, but it is a great way to produce catalog cards.
Although the company who makes it are not the most helpful people in the
world, I have found, but it does not need much, if any, support. Let me
know if you would like more info. I posted a similar query to a number
of lists a while back and still have the responses, if you would like me
to forward them to you.
