Ann,
The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology on the University of New Mexico campus
had a Byzantium Revisited exhibit last year (It closed in November).  It
featured both old and new icons many of which were done by a Greek
Orthodox priest from Santa Fe.  If you need more info, let me know
