To All Museum L-ers:
I sent the following message a week ago, but unfortunately received no
responses. I was hoping someone might have another list source where I
would have better luck. Maybe a list based out of Italy?
>I'm conducting research on an ivory hair comb, Italian or French, >16th
century, and have found a photograph of an identical comb (but >not the same
one, possibly its pair) in a catalogue at the Met. An >historian named
Ferdinand Winters conducted research on European >combs and published this
photo, along with his findings, in 1907.
>The comb is listed as coming from the Carraud Collection, Bargello,
>Florenz. Does anyone know of this collection, or if it even exist >today.
An address would be a great help!
>Please send any and all responses to:

Thanks for any help. I really enjoy following the threads on this list.
