The Fluxus exhibition organized by the Walker Art Center in 1993 (? or so)
communicated the spirit and creativity of the Fluxus artists very well. The
exhibit encouraged participation, and did a really good job of lending the
objects in the exhibition a spirit of playfulness and creativity (even though
most objects were in vitrines). The catalogue published by the Walker is
good, but it doesn't quite communicate the extent to which the spirit of the
show penetrated the museum.
