ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
WEATHERSPOON ART GALLERY

The Weatherspoon Art Gallery at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro,
whose collections and programs focus on modern and contemporary American art,
seeks a qualified, energetic, experienced
individual to assist the registrar through maintenance of records associated
with accessions, cataloguing incoming/outgoing loans, in-house and traveling
exhibitions, packing, shipping, assist with exhibition prepa
ration, inventory, insurance and storage pertaining to the care, custody and
control of the museum's collections and loans.  Qualifications:  Excellent
organizational skills and knowledge of registration and conservation principles
essential.  Bachelor's degree preferred; previous registrar experience
