The whole issue seems rather moot at this point, since the MCN-L is dead
quiet. I have subscribed, but nothing has yet been posted there.

Perhaps, when the list becomes active, enough of the members will push for an
open list. I am certainly all for such a thing, since none of my lists are
closed.
