It is my understanding, and since I am no expert on this topic
I may have my story incorrect, that the Valentine Riverside
property has been split away from the main museum. This may be
the source of the "for sale" rumor. As far as I know the
original Valentine is still going strong, but with a much
leaner staff. The Riverside property will become a separate,
non-profit, institution as of September.
