Funded by the Illinois State Board of Education
Position Description:
Educator wanted _immediately_ for development and implementation of an
innovative on-line educational program, which is a collaborative effort
between the Illinois State Museum and the Brookfield Zoo. This full-time
grant position will run through September 16, 1996.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a classroom,
museum, or zoo educator; experience with content and students in grades 3-8;
knowledge of natural history, zoology, or anthropology; flexibility;
imagination; and a high comfort level with computers and the Internet. The
Education Associate with work closely with a full-time Internet Specialist.
This position will require occasional statewide travel. Master's degree
preferred but not required. Salary $26,000 with a complete benefits package.
