This afternoon, I learned that I would be one of four museum professionals
who will sit down with Congressman Ralph Regula (chairs the House Interior
Appropriation Subcommittee) for forty-five minutes this Tuesday morning to
plead the case for additional and continued funding for NEA, NEH and IMS. I
have a good idea how I'll use my few minutes, but I'm interested in the three
points you might make to support continued Federal funding for the arts,
humanitites and museums if you had ten minutes with an influential
congressman.
