this service, we are careful to note that our curators offer opinions about
objects and/or refer the owner to sources of additional information.
Consult-a-Curator is not a forum for authenticating works of art. (In the
many years that we have been offering the service, there have been a couple
of problems with misunderstandings in this regard.)
