I live in what must be the largest living tattoo museum in the world,
New York's East Village. It's a constantly changing, self-curated,
collaborative display totally integrated into daily life. And the
objects act as their own interpreters, if you have the nerve to
ask them. I'd guess someone who has their face
tattooed probably likes to talk about it.
