Dear Museum Colleagues,
I wonder if somebody could kindly provide me with information of when the Derb
yshire Museum Service ceased their entire service in UK. Their service, whose
service was concentrated to loan services in Derbyshire, had a well establishe
d reputation for its high quality of service.
I am summarizing a short report of their serviceso as to include in my current
 feasibility study to establish a museum loan service in a network of museums
in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo.
I have already the essential materials of their service when they were operati
ng in the early 1980s but no materials of how they were demolished.
