Linda, Richard, et al--I'm not sure of the "book," however the White House
Conference on Travel & Tourism (29-31 October 1995) is hosting an all day
pre-conference session titled "Cultural Tourism." I'm promised an advance copy
of the program, if you're interested (or if there's a bibliography) I'd be
pleased to share . . . let me know off list.

Incidently, this is the first ever WHC devoted to a single industry--now the
third largest (in revenue $$) in the US--so far the number of delegates
representing cultural organizations, such as museums, zoos, performing arts
centers, etc., seems to leave this sector somewhat under-represented (compared
to the tourism role I presume these institutions play). Best, Jim
