If you volunteering is a possibility for you, I highly recommend it.  Not
only are you working in your area of interest on a flexible schedule, but you
are also making your mark in the field.  This at least puts you in your
element.  If not, then look for a weekend position at a musuem/historic site.
 Many places need weekend staffers to keep the place going.
