        At one museum (small county historical society) I worked for, finding
the original accession registers was a god send when it came to figuring out
a muddled mess of a cataloging system. The writing may have been hard to read
and the ink may have been faded but at least they were still there after having
been ignored for 50 years. Thats a lot more than can be said for computer
records.
