With some help from a friend at NASA, I've just been out looking around
the space shuttle web site so as to find the time they'll make a
decision about whether they are going to land on the left side of the
country or the right side of the country. In the process, I found that
the person in charge of the site (the nominal webmaster) is called
"Curator". I thought all you curators out there would like to know NASA
(at least) has the idea of what I think a Web site should look/feel like
and that you might want to go explore it. It is:

                        http://shuttle.nasa.gov

and has pointers to lots of other NASA things as well, including each of
the Space Flight Center home pages, etc.

You folks in science museums might want to think about having a
web-capable computer permanently pointed at this site when there's a
mission going on because they have NASA Television coming in via the
CU-SeeMe capability and other nifty stuff.

Enjoy.
