Executive Director. Rosemount Museum, Pueblo, Colorado, seeks a motivated pro-
fessional familiar with all areas of museum management. Proficiency in grant
writing, fund raising, public relations, membership development, staff training,
communication skills, and administrative and budgeting skills essential.
 
Rosemount is a historic house museum housed in an 1893 Victorian Mansion, the
John A. Thatcher residence -- a Henry Hudson Holly design for the Aesthetic
Movement. The museum is unique in its collection of late Victorian decorative
arts.
 
Annual $400,000 budget, 500 members, and a 14 member board of directors. Rose-
mount receive approximately 24,000 visitors per year.
 
Appropriate prior museum management experience and advanced degrees are an ad-
vantage; and an enthusiasm for the Victorian period and its cultural inter-
pretation to the public are essential. Salary: $30,000 - 35,000.
