 The SPAM-L list that I am a member of discussed the "crusader" note. It was a
forgery in that the headers did not reflect the true source of the spam. Also,
it was not sent to discussion lists, but seemed to go to personal addresses.
This allows such messages to get past the spam detectors that are currently in
place on most lists (at least the LISTSERV ones).
