Tape residue:  the problem is endemic.  One solution, of course, is
to use brads, or brass tacks, but as everyone knows this is time
consuming and labor intensive.  Our crew has arrived at an
alternative solution, which seems more-or-less satisfactory:  use
double-sided tape and cover this with masking tape---sticky side
out---and this is actually used to adher the label to the wall.
Little residue or paint damage seems to occur after a 10-12 wk.
