As executive director of a small museum, I have recently received a letter
from an employee citing a grievance against a director that sits on our board.
While we have a grievance policy - itapplies only to employee- employer
relationship .......we have nothing for this case. Further, in reviewing this
case, I find we have no policy established in the eventuality a volunteer
wishes to cite a grievance against a director that sits on our board. Our
board of directors is all volunteer. I would be interested in finding out if
anyone has a policy that covers these situations and if not, what would you
do (or have done) in a similar situation.

Thank you in advance for your input
