The obvious place to start is The Exploratorium. The place is dedicated
to "human perception". Then there are dozens of other places to go to next.

I have often wondered how we can ever be sure "what" another person sees,
let alone another species. The "how" I guess can be understood. But
"what" is another matter. Somuch of what is percieved is constructed
beyond the sensor. Aren't we really seeing what a person might see?
