In our catalogues HOA, LOA and WOA stand for height, length and width over
all. The implication being that the object is of an irregular shape and that
the measurements given represent the maximum values for those dimensions.
The system was adopted for ease of assessing the dimensions of suitable
display spaces or storage containers.
