Roger and the several others who would like to start an Australian/nearby
museum discussion list:

Perhaps if Roger would draft a list of topics and issues that would
better be discussed on an "Australian" list than on Museum-L, and/or
Taxacom, and/or NHCOLL-L, both the rest of us and the Australians and
their neighbors would understand what the shortcomings of these existing
lists are.

Jim Croft pointed out some of the good reasons to consider remaining
consolidated; they're substantial. I second his suggestion that
you post your issues here (or on one of the other lists if they're
heavily slanted towards natural history collections) for a while
to see whether it's productive.
